Haneul Park is one of the five World Cup parks. It was established in 2002 to commemorate the 17th FIFA World Cup by transforming the former Nanjido landfill site. The park is arranged in a square shape and is divided into various themed sections, including areas planted with silver grass, native grasses, rock gardens, wildflower meadows, and sunflower fields. Notably, the observatory offers stunning views across the Hangang River, making it a popular spot for photography. Haneul Park is beloved for its annual Silver Grass Festival, held each October. Visitors can enjoy cultural events and programs set against the beautiful backdrop of silver grass fields. Ideal for visits with family and friends, Haneul Park is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.
