Using KakaoT is very convenient when taking a taxi in Korea. You can use it as a guest without registering as a member, and it supports various payment cards. It is easy to use when installed for foreigners.

Step 1: Install and Sign Up for the KakaoT App
App Download:
Search for "KakaoT" on the Google Play Store or the App Store to download the app.
Sign Up:
Open the app and enter your phone number to complete identity verification. (You can use both Korean numbers and international roaming numbers.)

Step 2: Call a Taxi and Use It
Set Departure and Destination:
Select the departure and destination points on the map or enter the address.
Choose Vehicle Type:
Choose the vehicle type you prefer, such as a regular taxi, Black, or Venti.
Select Payment Method:
Register a credit or debit card to use the automatic payment system.
Call a Taxi:
Press the "Call" button to request a taxi.
Use and Payment:
Once you get into the taxi and reach your destination, payment will be automatically charged to the registered card.

Step 3: Use KakaoT Overseas
Call a Taxi Abroad:
In the KakaoT app, go to the "Travel" tab and select the "Overseas Taxi Call" icon.
Support for Local Languages:
You can enter the departure and destination in the local language, and there is an automatic translation feature for communication with the driver.
Automatic Payment:
Register an international payment method to easily make automatic payments abroad.
